The MKBS Junior Academy of Sciences focuses on developing students' talents, cultivating innovative and outstanding skills, and gathering high-level teachers and experts. With scientific methods and new technological tools, it selects students with potential and specialties to enter the MKBS Junior Academy of Sciences, where they will engage in planned extracurricular learning with a mentor system as the core. The MKBS Junior Academy of Sciences consists of five departments:

College of Science

The College of Science recruits students with talents in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, etc.

College of Liberal Arts

The College of Liberal Arts admits students with special interests and skills in Chinese, sinology, history, geography, English, etc.

College of Arts

The College of Arts welcomes students with expertise in instrumental music, dance, painting, calligraphy, drama, etc.

College of Social Sciences
