House Culture
The house system is a traditional model operated by British universities and top primary and secondary schools, which provides students with a center for sports, communication, and residence. Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Durham University, among many famous universities in the UK, adopted the house system.
Five Houses
MKBS has five houses: Lovekyn, Taverner, Queen's, Stanley, and Walworth. Each house has its representative color and totem.
All teachers and students will be assigned to one of these five houses, each headed by a teacher as the housemaster. Unlike the division based on academic departments, the division of houses is based around the entire school, which helps promote communication and cooperation between teachers and students from different departments, cultivating students' sense of collective honor and belonging.
