2024年3月8日上午，英国牛津大学赛德商学院首席运营官Manos Kapterian先生莅临苏州山峰双语学校，总校长任国芳对Manos先生一行的到访表示热烈欢迎，并向他们介绍了山峰双语学校整体办学情况。Manos先生对山峰学校融中西文化、培养国际化创新人才的理念表示赞同，并积极探讨了未来牛津大学赛德商学院与山峰国际高中的进一步交流与合作。

Manos先生在山峰剧场为全体老师和高中生作了专题报告，介绍了牛津大学及赛德商学院的夏校课程、本科入学标准、要求，“在这里，最重要的要求是打开你的思维”。卓越的逻辑表达能力，不断迸发的创新思维，对于论题的批判性思考，全球化视野与领导力......牛津大学商学院寻找的是具有独立思想的未来创新者。
Mr. Manos delivered a thematic report to all teachers and upper school students at the school theatre, introducing the summer school program, criteria and requirements for undergraduate enrollment of Oxford University and the Saïd Business School. “ The most important requirement is to have your brain switched on,” he said. Exceptional logical expression ability, constant innovative thinking, critical thinking on topics, global perspective and leadership... The business school of Oxford University is looking for future innovators with independent thinking.

报告会后，部分国际高学生意犹未尽，留下来向Manos先生提问，近距离面对面交流学习。
对于有志于申请商学院的学生，Manos先生告诉他们，一名成功的企业家起步总是困难且复杂的，需要学习和提升的方面很多，但是，学习不仅限于课堂。
After the report, some of the international upper school students could not get enough of it and stayed to continue the face-to-face communication with Mr. Manos.
For students interested in applying for the business school, Mr. Manos told them that starting out as a successful entrepreneur is always difficult and complex, there is a lot to learn and improve, but that learning is not limited to the classroom.

“Every time you make a decision, you learn from that decision.”
不仅如此，“你需要找到真正的热情所在”。专业科目的学习并非停留在“学”上，更多的是“理解”，而这一切都基于个人怀揣的初心和动机。
至于如何提升学习能力，Manos先生则表示：“方法之间没有优劣，每一种方法都有其独特的价值”，他鼓励学生们积极参与校内和课后活动，将知识运用于生活实际。
Apart from that, “you need to find your real passion”. The study of specialized subjects does not stop at “learning”, it is more about “understanding”, which is based on the initial thoughts and motivations of the individuals.
As for how to enhance learning ability, Mr. Manos said: “No method is better than the other, each has its place.” He encouraged students to actively participate in in-school and after-school activities to apply their knowledge to real life situations.
