Woodworking is a technical course that inspires creativity and allows students to learn not only traditional woodworking skills, but also innovative design and production techniques. This semester, MKBS officially launches this exciting course, opening the door for students to use their imagination.
木工作为一门传统技术工艺,从绘图画线、锯割刨削、凿锉钻孔到细节处理,每一步都凝聚出无数人的智慧结晶。
Woodworking as a traditional technical craft is the culmination of countless hours of human ingenuity at every step, from drafting and drawing lines, sawing and planing, chiselling and filing and drilling, to surface preparation.

木工课程可以让MKBS学生掌握一些常用工具的使用方法,学会识别和绘制图样,用恰当的技术语言与他人交流思想和成果。同学们还可以根据设计方案恰当选择加工工艺,制作一个简单的产品模型或原型,体验技术探索、技术革新活动的乐趣。
The woodworking programme enables MKBS students to master the use of some common tools, learn to identify and draw drawings, and communicate ideas and results with others using appropriate technical language. Students can also make a simple model or prototype of a product by choosing the appropriate machining process according to the design plan, and experience the fun of technical exploration and technological innovation activities.

在山峰双语通用技术的课程中,MKBS学生们将会学习到从木材选择、测量、切割、组装和精细润饰的各种基本技能。同时,他们还将有机会参与到各种创新的木工项目中,包括设计和制作自己的家具、艺术装置和设计作品等等。
通过这种方式,MKBS期望鼓励学生们发挥他们的创造力,培养出对木工技术的热爱和熟练的技能。
Throughout the course, students will learn a variety of basic skills from wood selection, measuring, cutting, assembly and fine finishing. They will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative woodworking projects, including designing and making their own furniture, art installations, design pieces and more.
In this way, we expect to encourage students to use their creativity and develop a love and proficiency in woodworking techniques.

In the General Technology Programme of MKBS, the woodworking course not only provides a broad stage for students to demonstrate their creativity, but also allows them to learn about traditional Chinese culture and pass on the "craftsmanship spirit".
Robotics, as a speciality of Mountain Peak Bilingual School, is a full expression of science and technology. The combination of Robotics with the General Technology programme also achieves unexpected results.

在通用技术选修课程中有电子控制技术、机器人设计和制作,工程设计以及三维设计等内容;MKBS学生从最初的机器人简单组装,到后期的改装设计,无人机机械结构设计制作,在不断的尝试中寻找方法。
In the General Technology elective course, there are electronic control technology, robot design and production, engineering design and three-dimensional design, etc. Students start with simple assembly of robots, and later modify the design, and design and produce the mechanical structure of drones, looking for ways to experiment incessantly.
立足于“做中学”和“学中做”,MKBS的学生亲历其中,亲手操作、亲身体验,每个学习者通过观察、调查、设计、制作等活动获得丰富的操作体验,进而获得情感态度、价值观以及技术能力的发展。
